ROBIN MELLWAY

Robin is a post-doctoral fellow with the University of British Columbia’s Department of Forest and Conservation Sciences.  His past research has involved using the tools of molecular biology, biochemistry, and chemical analysis to study topics in fruit development and plant defences against pathogens and herbivores, with a focus on the regulation of gene expression by transcription factor proteins and plant secondary metabolism.  He has joined the AdaptTree team to assist in sequence capture and phenotyping of Lodgepole Pine and Interior Spruce in large-scale common garden experiments.
