Keeping up with climate change: identifying the range of acceptable human interventions in forested ecosystems

Molly is a MSc Student in the Department of Wood Science at UBC.  Her research focus is on identifying the range of acceptable human interventions in forested ecosystems.  During her undergraduate degree she gained a specialization in global perspectives on natural resources conservation and worked as the Research Assistant for the research initiative Forests and Communities in Transition (FACT).

Molly seeks to balance her academic existence through such activities as hiking around mountains, hunting chanterelles, going fishing, and visiting her family in Corbett, Oregon.
